Refunds
Introduction
Refunds are exceptional operations that return funds to an investor in specific situations: offer cancellation, payment error, dispute resolved in the investor’s favor, etc.
Access refund management
- In the admin menu, go to "Refunds".
- The list of all refunds (created, pending, processed) is shown.
Create a refund
Step 1 — Open the form
- Click "New refund" or "Create refund".
- The form opens.
Step 2 — Fill in the form

| Amount | Amount to refund |
| Reason | Reason for the refund |

| Method | How the refund will be processed |
Step 3 — Submit
- Check the information.
- Click "Create refund".
- The refund is saved with status "Pending".
Update a refund
If the status or details of a refund must change:
- Select the refund in the list.
- Click "Edit".
- Update the status (Pending → In progress → Processed).
- Add notes if needed.
- Save.
Cancel a refund
If a refund was created by mistake or is no longer needed:
- Select the refund.
- Click "Cancel".
- Confirm.
Only refunds that have not yet been processed can be cancelled.
Delete a refund
To permanently remove a refund from the list:
- Select the refund.
- Click "Delete".
- Confirm deletion.
Warning: Deletion is irreversible. Prefer cancellation if you need to keep a record.
Refund statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | Refund created; processing not started |
| In progress | Refund processing underway |
| Processed | Refund completed and confirmed |
| Cancelled | Refund cancelled |
Best practices
- Always document the reason for a refund for your records.
- Verify evidence before creating a refund (proof of error, documented dispute).
- Communicate with the investor via chat to keep them informed.
- Update the status as processing moves forward.
