Refunds

Introduction

Refunds are exceptional operations that return funds to an investor in specific situations: offer cancellation, payment error, dispute resolved in the investor’s favor, etc.


Access refund management

  1. In the admin menu, go to "Refunds".
  2. The list of all refunds (created, pending, processed) is shown.

Create a refund

Step 1 — Open the form

  1. Click "New refund" or "Create refund".
  2. The form opens.

Step 2 — Fill in the form

Step 3 — Submit

  1. Check the information.
  2. Click "Create refund".
  3. The refund is saved with status "Pending".

Update a refund

If the status or details of a refund must change:

  1. Select the refund in the list.
  2. Click "Edit".
  3. Update the status (Pending → In progress → Processed).
  4. Add notes if needed.
  5. Save.

Cancel a refund

If a refund was created by mistake or is no longer needed:

  1. Select the refund.
  2. Click "Cancel".
  3. Confirm.

Only refunds that have not yet been processed can be cancelled.


Delete a refund

To permanently remove a refund from the list:

  1. Select the refund.
  2. Click "Delete".
  3. Confirm deletion.

Warning: Deletion is irreversible. Prefer cancellation if you need to keep a record.


Refund statuses

Best practices

  1. Always document the reason for a refund for your records.
  2. Verify evidence before creating a refund (proof of error, documented dispute).
  3. Communicate with the investor via chat to keep them informed.
  4. Update the status as processing moves forward.
