Registering as an investor

Introduction​

This module walks you through creating your investor account on Genkibo. Registration is simple and quick.

Step 1 — Open the registration page​

  1. Go to the Genkibo platform.
  2. Click “Sign up” or “Create an account”.
  3. On the account type selection page, choose “Investor”.

Why choose “Investor”? Choose this type if you want to invest money in company offers and receive returns on investment.

Step 2 — Complete the registration form​

The form asks for the following information:

Personal information​

  • First name: your legal first name
  • Last name: your family name
  • Email: a valid address you check regularly. It will be used for notifications and account recovery.
  • Phone number: your mobile number. It is required to receive 2FA (two-factor authentication) codes.

Security​

  • Password: choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters; uppercase, numbers, and special characters recommended).
  • Confirm password: enter your password again to confirm.

Investor type​

  • Type: specify whether you are an individual or institutional investor.

Step 3 — Submit the form​

  1. Verify that all information is correct.
  2. Read and accept the terms of service.
  3. Click “Create my account”.

Step 4 — Verify your email address​

After submitting the form:

  1. A verification email is automatically sent to the address you provided.
  2. Open that email and click the verification link.
  3. The link redirects you to the platform and confirms your address.

Important: The verification link is valid for a limited time. If you do not see it in your inbox, check your spam folder. You can also request a new email from the platform.

Step 5 — Email confirmation​

An email confirmation page appears after verification. Your account is now created and you can sign in.

Step 6 — Accept the terms of service​

On your first sign-in, the platform asks you to read and accept the terms of service. This step is required to access all features.

What happens after registration​

Once registered, you can:

  • Access your investor dashboard
  • Complete your profile with additional information
  • Upload required documents
  • Explore available investment offers
  • Subscribe to a subscription

Tip: Complete your profile and upload your documents as soon as you register to get full access to the platform quickly.
